Where can I buy Kopparberg branded glasses?
Kopparberg Gift Sets, which include Kopparberg Cider and a Kopparberg branded glass, are available in a number of the major grocers including Asda and Sainsbury’s who stock them all year round. We’d recommend getting in touch with your local store to check stock levels before making a special trip.

What Kopparberg Cider variants are available in the UK?

What do Kopparberg Ciders contain?
Our ciders contain: carbonated water, fermented pear or apple juice, sugar, flavouring, juice from other fruit and berries depending on the flavour of the cider, citric acid (E330), potassium sorbet (E202) and sulphite (E224).

Do Kopparberg Ciders contain artificial sweeteners?
Only our Light variants contain artificial sweeteners. The sweeteners Aspartame and Acesulfame K are used in our Light products. The combined quantity of sweeteners varies between the different products, ranging between 17 and 28 mg/100 ml.

Is Kopparberg Cider gluten free?
All Kopparberg ciders contain less than 5 ppm of gluten. Products containing less than 20 ppm of gluten are considered gluten-free according to EU legislation. According to these numbers our cider is gluten free, but we recommend our customers to be careful and try a small amount of our products to see the reaction.

Does Kopparberg Cider contain yeast?
Yeast is used in the process of making our cider, but it is later removed. There can be small traces of it left in the product, but the traces are very small, and the yeast is dead.

Is Kopparberg Cider vegan/vegetarian?
Our entire cider range is both vegan-friendly and vegetarian. We use a plant-based vegan-friendly alternative in our filtration process so that our drinks can be enjoyed by all.

What is the ABV of Kopparberg Cider?
The ABV of all alcoholic Kopparberg Ciders is between 4%-4.5%, with the exception of Kopparberg Sparkling Rosé which has an ABV of 7%. The ABV of Kopparberg Alcohol-Free Ciders is <0.05%. Why does Kopparberg Alcohol-Free Cider contain a small % of alcohol?
Kopparberg Alcohol Free Cider adheres to all the legal requirements applicable to this type of product. There will always be a trace of alcohol in products such as this, the same is the case for non alcoholic beers. Nonetheless it is still considered an alcohol free cider. The decision of whether consumers need to provide ID when purchasing Kopparberg Alcohol Free Ciders is at the discretion of the pub/bar/shop owner. You will need to contact them directly to get specific information about their ID policy.

How do I reclaim excise duty on spoiled Kopparberg cider kegs?
If you are a licensed outlet with Kopparberg kegs, you may be eligible for reimbursement on the excise duty paid for the remaining liquid. Per current Government guidelines the duty reclaim process will apply to all best before expiry dates up to and including 4th July 2020.
To reclaim the duty element of any broached Kopparberg cider kegs or un-broached Kopparberg Cider Kegs that are beyond their best before date in your cellar, as a result of the on-trade closure associated with Covid-19, you will need to visit returnyourbeer.co.uk/register to register your outlet and submit your claim.
In order to reclaim the duty, you will need to provide the necessary details and supporting photographic evidence required by HMRC, which will need to be submitted alongside your claim via the returnyourbeer.co.uk platform.
Please ensure you have the following information to hand to complete your claim:
• Keg details including brand (Kopparberg), size and best before date. There are tool tips throughout the claims form to help you.
• Delivery details (including date).
• Photos of the Kopparberg keg (clearly showing the label and tamper evident cap in situ for full or un-broached kegs, or the keg coupler in situ on the keg in the cellar for broached or part full kegs).
• Number of taps at your location for the Kopparberg keg.
• You MUST have your Supplier Account Number to hand. -

Kopparberg Cherry Rum is the newest drink from Kopparberg – It’s a 37.5% ABV rum with a bold cherry fruit taste, boasting all of the fruit taste you’d expect from a Kopparberg drink. The new spirit is inspired by the animals that come alive at night in the dark Swedish forests surrounding the town of Kopparberg, and is the brand’s first move into rum.
