To the delight of gin fans and following the successful launch of our debut premium gin, we’re proud to announce a second variant by launching Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Premium Gin, which is available only in Asda from 4 June for a limited period only – just in time for summer and ahead of World Gin Day on 8 June.
The design of the new bottle mirrors the same outdoor illustrations seen on the original Premium Gin, but instead uses purple shades to reflect the darker fruit colours and notes in the Mixed Fruit gin.
Just as our fruit cider portfolio has expanded over the years, the Kopparberg Premium Gin range can now already be seen to be growing. Rob Salvesen, our Head of Marketing, comments:
“It’s not been long since we announced our first foray into the gin market with our Strawberry & Lime flavour Kopparberg Premium Gin, and following the enormous welcome response, we are even more delighted to tell our fans that they can soon get their hands on another variant. Mixed Fruit came as the next obvious choice as it is our second most-loved fruit cider flavour, and we wanted to offer gin-lovers more than just one option when it came to choosing a pink gin. We hope to see many memories made outdoors with both Kopparberg Premium Gins this summer!”
Perfectly served over ice with lemonade and garnished with fresh mixed berries (however, as said before, who are we to tell you how to drink it?), the new variant can also be enjoyed the more traditional way with tonic, garnished with cucumber and basil.
